To help address the urgent need for a just and thriving world, the Yale Center for Business and the Environment offers a 10-month admissions-based online certificate program that trains and connects rising leaders to catalyze an equitable transition to a clean economy. And, applications are open now.

Devastating floods in Pakistan and drought-stricken California. Record high winter temperatures. A global food price crisis with countries on the brink of famine. Every aspect of the world we live in is being impacted by climate change.  To tackle emerging global crises and address our vulnerabilities to change, we need talented professionals, like you, to continue to beat expectations and set the bar higher for progress. We must come together to build a clean, just energy future at a faster rate than thought possible.

Applications for the FDCE program and its scholarships for 2024 are open through March 12, 2023.  A limited number of merit-based scholarships are available to applicants.

From implementing new projects to taking on new roles in your current organization (or transitioning to a new one!), the FDCE program helps participants make an immediate impact and advance their careers:

“Within 12 months of graduating, I landed a new job that transitioned me from spending 10-20% of my work on clean energy and climate to 100%, improved the overall trajectory for my career, and by the 1st anniversary of my graduation I had earned back the cost of tuition by moving to my new role.”
