YSE SOM Joint Degree Program
Fostering a community of changemakers taking action within the intersection of business and the environment.
JD description
The YSE/SOM Joint Degree Program was started in 1982 with the mission to create thoughtful, passionate and informed leaders equipped with practical skills - from finance to forestry.
Students in this joint degree program earn two degrees upon completion: An MBA from the Yale School of Management (SOM) in combination with a master’s degree in environmental management or forestry from the Yale School of the Environment (YSE).
The oldest of its kind in the United States, the joint degree enables a community with a shared desire to save our planet to work together fostering business and cross-sector solutions to global challenges. Together, this community is helping to accelerate the transition to a just and thriving world.
