PSEII and CBEY – Partners in Impact at Yale
Together, the Yale Program on Social Enterprise, Innovation, and Impact and the Yale Center for Business and the Environment educate, convene, and support a community of leaders working at the intersection of business, society, and the environment—connecting social and environmental perspectives to advance a more equitable and sustainable world.

Defining ESG
ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) refers to the criteria that investors use to assess risks and opportunities relating to a company’s environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance.
As part of our Beyond the Buzzwords initiative with Tsai CITY, Yale lecturer and CBEY faculty co-director Todd Cort helps explain this term.
