The Yale Clean and Equitable Energy Development (CEED) program is a 100% online certificate program that equips participants in 5 months to evaluate and develop clean energy projects that create tangible financial, social, and environmental benefits.
The final application deadline for spring 2026 cohort was November 10, 2025.
About CEED
Participants in the Yale Clean and Equitable Energy Development (CEED) certificate program learn how to scope, design, and advance clean energy projects while exploring new ways to create meaningful community benefits. The program builds a network of professionals who understand the connection between clean energy, social equity, and climate impacts—strengthening the workforce and policies needed to reduce costs, improve security, create opportunity, and realize a just, resilient energy transition.

What can I expect to learn from CEED?
Participants will be able to recognize energy injustice, promote policies to accelerate a just energy transition, design and evaluate clean energy projects that promote local benefits. In order to fully leverage the program opportunity, we suggest joining us with a real or imagined clean energy project you’d like to evaluate or develop.
