Maki Tazawa is pursuing a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. She is interested in sustainable agriculture, systems-led leadership and social innovation. Her most recent work experience was with the National Audubon Society, where she carried out international conservation projects in the areas of coastal resiliency, education and ecotourism.
At CBEY, Maki is part of Conservation Finance Network, Pathways in Corporate Sustainability, and started the PB& initiative. She holds a degree from the George Washington University in International Affairs and Environmental Studies. She is originally from Rhode Island and enjoys running and diving in her free time.
