Rachel Gould is a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) candidate at the Yale School of the Environment. Her focus at Yale is corporate social responsibility and sustainable investing and more specifically the role finance and businesses play in combating climate change, reversing nature loss, and accelerating the transition to a circular economy.
Rachel currently works for the Science Based Targets Network supporting the creation of the first ever guidance on science-based targets for nature (biodiversity, ocean, land and water) for companies and cities and managing their corporate engagement program. She also works with Ceres on their Accelerator for Sustainable Capital Markets program which aims to transform the practices and policies that govern capital markets to mitigate the financial impacts of climate change. Before enrolling in the Yale, Rachel had extensive experience working as a consultant for a number of small and large medical devices companies across the world.
At Yale, Rachel is a leader of the Pathways in Business and the Environment at the Center for Business and the Environment and Yale Environmental Women.
Rachel holds a B.A. & B.S. in environmental science and economics from McGill University.
