Startup Yale Info Session

Yale has four entrepreneurship prizes that share a single application. These prizes, which range from $15,000 to $25,000, are designed to generate world-changing ideas from Yale students around health, education, sustainability, and technology. This info session will cover all these opportunities together in one place, describing what they are and how to apply.

Thorne Prize for Social Innovation in Health or Education: This $25,000 cash prize is awarded by InnovateHealth Yale to the best student-led venture focused on social innovation in health or education.
Sabin Sustainable Venture Prize: The Sabin Prize, managed by the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, awards cash prizes totaling $25,000 to students and/or faculty with the best ideas for products, services, projects, or programs that advance a more sustainable way of life.
Miller Prize: The Miller Prize is a $25,000 entrepreneurship prize from the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale for a student venture with a tech or tech-enabled service startup.
Rothberg Calatalyzer Prize @ Yale: The Rothberg Catalyzer Prize @ Yale is a $25,000 cash prize given the best student-led venture focused on developing an innovative hardware solution to a medical challenge.

Apply for mentorship (due 1/25): To support your prize application and pitch prep, we will match you with a mentor or industry expert who will work with you during the spring semester. To be matched with a mentor, submit a Mentor Request Form by 11:59 pm on January 25.

Final application (due 3/8): The final prize application will go live on February 1, and is due at 11:59pm on March 8.
