CliMates: Circularity in Oyster Recycling

CliMates: Circularity in Oyster Recycling on Monday, December 11th at lunch in Evans!

Join us for Circularity in Oyster Recycling with Adam Crittenden (SOM ’25) where we will be discussing the concept of oyster recycling, including the history, logistics, and ongoing efforts in and around Connecticut. We'll focus on two organizations: the Billion Oyster Project in NYC and Connecticut's Collective Oyster Recycling and Restoration (CORR). Adam will also provide a quick summary of oyster recycling legislation in other states such as Louisiana and North Carolina. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in a thoughtful discussion on circularity, marine conservation, and ecological restoration!

As always, lunch will be provided. Organized and sponsored by CBEY, YSE Business & Environment Learning Community & SOM Business & Environment club.

*We are committed to reducing waste at our event.  Therefore, we ask that when you register, you commit to doing your best to attend.
