Yumeng Gao
Postdoctoral Associate
at Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance
Dr. Yumeng Gao is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance (YISF). Her research revolves around sustainable finance and specifically focuses on the financial implications of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities. Her research spans the areas of ESG disclosure, environmental finance, employee relations, impact investing, NGO activism and socially responsible investing.
Before joining YISF, Yumeng received a PhD in Finance at University College Dublin in 2022, where she was also a postdoctoral research fellow and adjunct lecturer of the module Green Data Science.
