Olivia Rhodes
Olivia is a first year Master of Environmental Management student at Yale School of the Environment who is interested in decarbonization and carbon removal. Through her studies and post-grad work, Olivia hopes to understand barriers to decarbonization and to help ethically scale carbon removal technologies for climate change mitigation. Prior to coming to YSE, Olivia lived in Washington DC, where she worked as a sustainability analyst at the world’s largest producer of wood pellets for energy. In this role, Olivia gained expertise in certification, energy regulations, international supply chains, and forest products, which she applies to her studies at YSE and her interests in new fields. Olivia holds a BA from the George Washington University. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she is an avid hiker, biker, and sci-fi reader.
