Marymegan Wright

Marymegan is an Environmental Studies major from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Having spent the past summer studying wildlife conservation and management in Kenya’s Amboseli region, she is especially interested in sustainable international development and environmental justice.

Marymegan is a member of the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse team at Yale and serves on the executive board for Yale’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Additionally, she leads the Green Team Certification competition through Bulldog Sustainability which seeks to promote sustainable behaviors through a friendly competition amongst Yale’s varsity athletic teams.

Outside of her academic and athletic pursuits, Marymegan also enjoys learning French and hopes to live in a francophone country in the future.
