Lise De Maere

Lise De Maere is an MBA student at the Yale School of Management. Born and raised in Belgium, Lise is focused on corporate sustainability in the food, retail and apparel space in Europe. She has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and a Master in Industrial Engineering from Ghent University.

After graduation, she worked as a strategy consultant for Bain & Company Brussels for 3 years where she worked on a range of sustainability projects - from 10-year ESG strategies to starting new sustainable business units. At Yale, Lise is focused on understanding how to maximize impact in the corporate space through classes at the School of Management, School of the Environment, and the School of Law.

She is the curiosity lead of the Business & the Environment Club where she started a weekly presentation and discussion forum on all topics Business & Environment, and is a researcher for CBEY working on a Corporate Sustainability career guide. To further develop her understanding of the food industry, Lise interned at Albertson's corporate sustainability team.
