Katya Wendt

Katya is a joint masters degree student at the Yale School of the Environment (YSE) and the Yale School of Management (SOM) focusing on Ecosystem Management and Conservation. At Yale, Katya serves as the Sustainability Chair on SOM student government, helping to advance sustainability initiatives and efforts at the institution.

Before Yale, Katya worked as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon focused on Intellectual Property Protection through policy and automation. Katya recently completed a summer with the National Park Service, working on building utilization strategy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Katya holds a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and Russian with minors in Management Studies and Statistics from St. Olaf College.

In her spare time, Katya enjoys gardening, watercolor painting, crochet, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
