Joe Schiavo is an infrastructure investment professional. He is currently a Vice President at Harbert Infrastructure, a private equity firm focused on investments in the U.S. across power generation, renewable energy, and public-private partnerships. Prior to his current role, Joe was an investment banker in the power, utilities, and renewables groups at Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo. At Yale, Joe’s research focused on the economics of regulatory policy in the power generation industry and the measurement of macroeconomic effects of climate change. He served as a Teaching Fellow for Environmental and Natural Resource Economics and Renewable Energy Project Finance. Prior to Yale, Joe advised companies on business strategy, data analytics, and operations as a Senior Consultant in IBM’s Global Business Services unit. Joe holds MBA and MESc degrees from Yale University and a BA in International Studies from Vassar College.
