Helena Siagian

I am an Indonesian, a wife, and a sister. I grew up in Jakarta with my younger brother, and I graduated from college with a Social Development degree.

In my work, I am passionate about the intersection of climate change, social development, and doing so through the role of private sector. Before coming to Yale, I worked in Unilever Indonesia as ESG assistant manager and at Systemiq as a consultant.

Having spent almost 6 years working in sustainable business field, I have built experiences in influencing multiple stakeholders towards certain climate actions. My work in emerging markets have also equipped me with diverse perspective on how climate change interact with social and economic development issue. Right now, I am interested in impact investing, especially growing the private capital in climate investments.

Beyond work, I enjoy sipping cups of coffee and tea, walking under the sun, and singing and making songs!
