Ella Witts

Ella is a first year Master of Environmental Management student at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, with a focus on energy and business. She grew up in the cosmopolitan cultures of Hong Kong, London and Chicago. Having previously worked as an environmental intern for BP, Ella is interested in working with energy companies to strategise and implement plans to reduce their environmental impact.

As a keen runner and triathlete, Ella has developed a passion for using green spaces and enhancing the benefits others can experience from these spaces. Therefore, while completing her BA in Geography at the University of Cambridge, she wrote a dissertation on maximising the cooling effect of street trees in London. Ella is excited to continue her work on urban green spaces while at CBEY.
