MBA 2024
Cassandra Hay

Cassandra is an MBA student at the Yale School of Management. Born and raised in NYC, she did her undergrad in Sociology and Anthropology at Oberlin College. She returned to NYC after graduating and fell into a career in eCommerce print-on-demand retail operations at a startup called TeePublic. In addition to her core responsibilities, she carved out time for social and environmental impact initiatives, including building a process for garment recycling and donating over 1 million surgical masks to Direct Relief. These initiatives were close to her heart and ultimately motivated her to pursue a new path.

At Yale, Cassandra is focusing on the intersection of social impact, environmental impact, and business. She hopes to discover mutually beneficial solutions between systems and create venn diagrams of impact by combining resources and knowledge across sectors. She believes that there is an immense amount that can be discovered by listening and learning from other perspectives. She is also pursuing an interest in circularity and material innovation as one of these potential venn diagrams of impact.

She completed her summer internship at WBCSD and is involved in multiple clubs, including Business + The Environment, Women in Management, and the Hockey Boosters.
