Burr Tweedy

Burr is a Master of Environmental Management and MBA joint-degree candidate focusing on renewable energy and energy efficiency. At Yale, he studies renewable energy project finance, energy systems analysis and environmental economics.

Prior to Yale, Burr worked for four years as a sustainability consultant at the international architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. His primary responsibilities were to support architectural designers with environmental analysis and sustainable strategies. He also led project teams in setting, understanding, and achieving sustainable benchmarking targets in programs such as LEED.

Burr graduated from Colorado College where he earned a BA in Environmental Science with a minor in Studio Art. During his time at Colorado College, he played on the Ultimate Frisbee team and spent summers working at the Bronx Zoo learning about wildlife conservation. As an undergraduate, he lived abroad in Barcelona where he studied Spanish, urban design and photography.
