Anelise Zimmer

Anelise is a Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She is interested in how stakeholder engagement in land management and environmental policies can support climate resilience on the community level.

Prior to attending Yale, Anelise worked as a Park Ranger in Alaska, completed a Fulbright grant in Malaysian Borneo, and managed the environmental programs of Ocean Beauty Seafoods. She has also worked alongside rural fishing and farming communities in Guatemala, where she assisted with wildlife conservation, economic development, and climate adaptation.

Anelise grew up on the island of Kodiak, Alaska and holds a BA in Environmental Science from Willamette University. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, traveling, and spending time in nature.
