Alex Healey

Alex Healey is a joint-degree candidate at Yale’s Schools of Management and of the Environment. Alex is interested in the application of innovative financial structures and instruments as a means for tackling conservation- and climate-related challenges. 

Prior to Yale, Alex was a senior associate on the impact investment team at Acumen. In addition to sourcing and managing venture investments across the renewable energy, agriculture, and fintech sectors, he also helped to develop and launch new investment strategies relating to climate change adaptation and mitigation, including KawiSafi Ventures. Alex began his career as an investment banker in J.P. Morgan’s energy coverage group, where he focused on the cleantech and renewable energy sectors. 

Alex graduated summa cum laude from Amherst College with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Art History. While at Amherst, he was the inaugural recipient of the Jan E. Dizard Prize in Environmental Studies.
