Albert Gang

Albert Gang is a Yale College undergraduate from Irvine, California. He is pursuing a BS in Chemistry and a MM in Violin Performance through the Yale School of Music’s five-year dual BA/MM program as well as a Certificate in Energy Studies.
Albert conducts inorganic chemistry research in the Hazari Lab, working on the synthesis of new transition-metal complexes. His projects involve solar fuels, the sunlight-powered conversion of carbon dioxide to other carbon-based feedstocks. This past summer, he also worked on lithium extraction devices at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a Department of Energy intern. He hopes in the future to make an impact on the clean energy sector.
In his free time, Albert enjoys busking, traveling, and watching new movies.
