About the CT Green Bank:

The Connecticut Green Bank is a quasi-public authority and the nation’s first state “Green Bank.” We leverage public and private funds to drive investment and scale up clean energy deployment in Connecticut. Working at the Green Bank means being part of a dynamic team of talented people who are passionate about implementing the new green bank model, stimulating the growth of clean energy in Connecticut, strengthening our economy, and protecting our environment.

The opportunity:

The Green Bank is in the first year of implementing Energy Storage Solutions, a new program that seeks to deploy a gigawatt of battery storage in Connecticut. This program is designed to increase resiliency, keep energy costs low, and ensure equitable access to battery technology. We are looking for an intern to support the evolution of our battery deployment strategy through supporting projects such as: battery storage emissions analysis, end-of-life materials analysis, and winter dispatch valuation. 

The intern will report to the Green Bank’s Associate Director of Innovation, Sara Harari

Location:

This will be a hybrid internship – flexible in terms of working out of CTGB offices in Hartford or remotely.
