Stephen Murdoch

Stephen is an independent, generalist investor and grant maker. Stephen invests in early-stage and private growth companies of all sorts, from health to child care, but he has a particular interest in clean-tech and carbon-reducing companies. He invests mainly in the UK and North America, although he has invested a little in East Africa, as well. Stephen has also invested in real estate, from agriculture to commercial and residential properties.

Stephen likes to support environmental projects through his small family foundation, Green Park Foundation.

Stephen currently chairs Thrive Therapeutic Software, which creates digital therapies to detect and treat mental health problems, and its bricks-and-mortar sister company, Pathfinder Group Ltd. He's also a non-executive director of Camallergy, which develops treatments for food allergies. Stephen is American but lives in the UK.
