Monica Niiko Charletta

Monica is a joint degree candidate at the Yale School of Management and School of the Environment, where she is focusing on driving a transition towards a more regenerative and equitable food system.

Prior to Yale, Monica was a senior consultant on Monitor Deloitte's ESG strategy team. Through her work, Monica helped restaurant and food processing companies build resilient supply chains by developing sustainability initiatives and investments in partnership with farmers. Monica recently worked at the intersection of financial inclusion and climate adaptation as an EDF Climate Corps Fellow with BFA Global. During her internship, she helped build innovation ecosystems in emerging markets for the TECA climate venture launcher and built a gallery of climate-smart financial products to accelerate further investment and development.

Monica graduated from Rice University with a degree in Environmental Science and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology.
