Milagros De Camps is a second year MEM student and a Fulbright scholar from the Dominican Republic, she holds a J.D. from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and an LL.M. with a focus in International Business from Boston University. She is the co-leader of the Yale Environmental Law Association. She is passionate about energy, sustainability and public policy. Prior to her arrival at Yale, Milagros spent six years working as a lawyer offering legal advice to local and foreign investors in corporate and energy issues and working in the development of several renewable energy projects (wind, solar, biomass). Milagros is the co-founder and Policy Director of the Dominican Business Council for Sustainable Development, a non-profit organization focused on harnessing the power of the business sector to promote corporate sustainability, and Professor of Law at her Alma Mater. This summer, Milagros was an EDF Climate Corps Fellow working on creating an energy and sustainability strategy for Univision Communications, Inc. At F&ES, Milagros is focusing her studies and research on energy and environmental policy.
