Jon-Michael is currently interning for the International Trade Administration, covering the civil nuclear energy portfolio and Asia EDGE program. Meanwhile, he is working on his Master of International Public Policy degree at Johns Hopkins SAIS. He also holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment. At Yale, he focused on international energy and climate policy. Specifically, he is interested in the ways intelligent policies and public-private partnerships can aid the transition to a clean energy future. He was the Technology Transitions course manager for the Certificate in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy at CBEY. Prior to Yale, Jon-Michael spent time in Thailand exploring entrepreneurship and working as a manager in the apparel manufacturing and bar industries. Before that, he was a sailor stationed in Japan aboard the USS George Washington. There, he supervised a small team in operation of a nuclear propulsion plant among many other mission and project-related duties. Jon-Michael holds a BSAST in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University and is a graduate from the US Navy’s Nuclear Power Program.
