Dr. Devashree Saha
Dr. Devashree Saha is an associate fellow at the Brookings Institution Metropolitan Policy Program. She has nearly 10 years of policy research and analysis experience, specializing in sources of state and regional economic growth and prosperity with a focus on the intersection of clean energy and economic development policy. She has published several highly impactful publications, including on clean energy financing, that have informed state and metropolitan policy making in the United States. Prior to joining Brookings, she worked at the National Governors Association on transportation and land use planning issues. She holds a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s in political science from Purdue University.
