Sara Shoff

Sara is a first year joint degree candidate focused on the incorporation of environment, social, and governance policies into investment decisions in frontier markets. Sara is coming to Yale after three years with Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the U.S. Government’s development finance institution, where she was responsible for assessing OPIC’s investments against best practices in international environmental and social standards. Before OPIC, she was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal where she worked with small holders farmers to combat effects of desertification. Sara is originally from northern California and received her BS in Environmental Management and Protection from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
