Colby Richardson

Colby Richardson is a graduate student at the Yale School of the Environment (YSE). At the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, he serves as an Environmental Startup Funding Coordinator. Areas of interest include electrification, solar, climate change, circular economy, and clean transportation.

Prior to YSE, Colby worked at EnergySage, a renewable energy online marketplace, managing business relations with over 50 renewable energy installers. He was also an environmental consultant at ERG, primarily working on climate change and clean transportation programming for state and federal government. Colby holds a B.A. in environmental policy from Union College.

Outside of school, Colby enjoys soccer, backpacking in remote wilderness, college basketball (Fighting Illini!), and vegetable gardening.
