We call our joint degree community "The Den." The Den serves to provide an inclusive, fun and thoughtful environment for joint degrees to socialize, as well as develop academically and professionally.

Each year, two Den Parents from the rising second-year cohort are selected by the outgoing Den Parents (with the help of the rest of the outgoing third-years) to plan and facilitate community events and development opportunities for the upcoming academic year.

Den Parents assist with various aspects of the joint degree program, including social events, career development and alumni connections, recruiting and admissions, and even curricular development. The Den Parents serve as facilitators and the main points of contact for the community and work closely with other joint degrees who take on the planning and execution of specific events or joint degree initiatives.
