Planetary Solutions in Clean Energy Program

Field Trip group by pond

Participate in our summer internship/fellowship program focusing on clean energy!

CBEY recently launched the Planetary Solutions in Clean Energy Internship and Fellowship program. This initiative offers summer research and internship opportunities to Yale students who are committed to advancing energy equity and pursuing a career in the clean energy field. Additionally, we want to create a pathway for 1st Gen and BIPOC students to careers in clean energy.

This past summer, CBEY fully funded eight (8) internships/fellowships. The students and partners were incredible, and we cannot wait to run the program again this summer!

As we continue this program, CBEY wants to connect with organizations who would like to participate, acting as a host organization for an internship or a partner on a research project:

  • Internships will partner with non-profit, low-profit, and governmental organizations that are committed to energy equity and the investment in and deployment of clean energy into low- and middle-income communities.
  • Research opportunities will focus on energy justice, scalable decarbonization innovations, municipalities, and sub-national actors moving on climate change solutions, or beyond.

If you are interested in being considered, please reach out to Rob Klee, Managing Director of Clean Energy Programming at CBEY and Lecturer at Yale at robert.klee@yale.edu.

To be considered for projects for the summer of 2024, please reach out no later than December 15, 2023.
