YISF's Cary Krosinsky in the Financial Times on engagement and divestment

Body

Cary S. Krosinsky is featured in today's Big Read of the Financial Times on asset managers' strategies on climate change. Cary discusses the problems associated with engagement and divestment in climate-related investment strategies. Both approaches, as carrot and stick, are complementary in his view. If engagement does not produce results, then divestment may be justified: “That’s not divestment, that’s a sell discipline.” The full article may be found here.

Cary S. Krosinsky is a lecturer at Yale affiliated with the Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance.
