Yale Sustainable Food Program

  Yale Sustainable Food Program

Food offers us the opportunity to engage with the world around us. By gathering people around shared food, shared work, and shared learning, the Yale Sustainable Food Program fosters a culture that draws meaning and pleasure from the connections among people, land, and food.

The Sustainable Food Program manages two farms, one on central campus and one on West Campus and runs diverse programs that support exploration and academic inquiry related to food and agriculture.

Internships are available to graduate and undergraduate students, both during the school year and over the summer. These opportunities are paid, which makes them accessible to students from all backgrounds. The Sustainable Food Program also hosts regular workshops, conferences, and talks with visiting experts, and works to enrich and expand coursework and hands-on learning opportunities in partnership with faculty and staff across the campus.
