Tony Cisneros

Tony Cisneros is a joint-degree candidate at the Yale School of Management and School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Tony's interests lie in land use & conservation, environmental policy, and alternative financing mechanisms, with which he seeks to pursue innovative strategies to balance anthropogenic needs against the health of natural ecosystems.

At Yale, Tony is a member of the Center for Business and Environment 2050 Fellows and club leader for the School of Management's Business & Politics and Wilderness Leadership Development clubs.

During the summer of 2019, Tony worked for the National Park Service where he conducted a review of private-party land uses along the Appalachian Trail and identified pathways to improve environmental compliance and operational efficiency.

Prior to Yale, Tony worked as a consultant at Deloitte where he supported public sector and financial services clients in a variety of roles, including strategic organization planning, large-scale technology implementation, and financial accounting system design. Tony received his B.A. in Economics, Legal Studies, and German from Northwestern University, where he was also a Brady Scholar in Ethics and Civic Life. In his free time, Tony enjoys running, hiking, reading and cooking.
