Tanveer is a first year student, working on evaluating the feasibility of renewable thermal technologies in Connecticut. Before coming to Yale, he was working at Procter & Gamble as the sustainability head of the company's manufacturing plant in North India. He also led P&G's Asia Water Conservation Program for Beauty Care plants. In these roles, Tanveer worked on implementing clean technologies, increasing employee engagement and developing robust systems to help reduce the environmental footprint of P&G's operations. Tanveer believes that corporations across the world can gain a competitive advantage by being more environment friendly. Tanveer completed his Dual Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech & M.Tech) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. In his free time, Tanveer likes to play cricket and soccer. He is also a member of the Business & Environment and Net Impact clubs.
