Sumit is the co-founder of Renewal Mill, a company that upcycles food manufacturing byproducts and the VP of Operations & Strategy at Truepill. He graduated with a Masters of Forestry and an MBA from Yale in 2016.

Previously, Sumit worked at MassCEC where he led venture investing as well as Emergent Ventures where he directed project finance for a 500MW development portfolio of wind, solar and biomass power plants. He started his career at McKinsey and Company in Chicago and graduated from Wharton in 2006.  Sumit is a native of Greensboro, NC.
