Stefanía Sibille Grández
Stefanía Sibille Grández is a student at the Yale School of the Environment focusing on tropical forest restoration and conservation and nature finance. At CBEY, Stefanía works with the Conservation Finance Network as a Student Program Associate, updating their toolkit on Habitat Banks and Biodiversity Credits. Prior to Yale, Stefanía worked on a multilateral climate finance project, conducting a community of practice on decarbonization trends and opportunities for Latin America, bringing together the public and private sectors.
Stefanía also has extensive experience in environmental impact assessment and biodiversity offsetting. Recently, Stefanía worked as a summer intern at Conservation International, analyzing private sector engagement strategies for restoration projects and documenting assisted natural regeneration projects in LAC. Stefanía graduated from La Molina Agrarian University in Peru with a B.Sc. in Biology (Honors) and holds a certificate from the Tropical Forest Landscape program of the Environmental Leadership Training Initiative (ELTI).
