Stanley is an undergraduate student at Yale-NUS College and a visiting student at Yale University. He is interested in the use of natural climate solutions for biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation in Southeast Asia. His latest research project at the Yale Applied Science Synthesis Program examines regenerative agriculture's climate change mitigation potential in Southeast Asia's croplands.

Before Yale, Stanley joined Climate Impact X, a Singapore-based global carbon exchange and marketplace, where he worked on quality benchmarks and assessment criteria for nature-based carbon offsets. He also examined the use of remote sensing methods for tropical forest aboveground biomass carbon prediction models at the NUS Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions.

At Yale University, Stanley is part of the Yale Climbing Team and volunteers at the Yale Farm frequently. In his free time, he enjoys biking and hiking.
