Ryland is a second year MBA/MEM candidate. Most recently Ryland worked for Apex Clean Energy as an MBA Finance Intern, focusing on project transfer risks/rewards, contract analysis, and basis risk analysis. Prior to joining Yale, Ryland worked on inventory efficiency for Grid Alternatives, a non-profit assisting lower-income homeowners with solar adoption, Program Management for Agrion, a Paris-based cleantech startup, and Project Management in the energy vertical of Guidepoint, a primary research / expert network firm.
Ryland graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder and holds a B.A. double major in Economics and Environmental Studies. He is a green smoothie aficionado and enjoys biking, snowboarding, and reading on the beach with plenty of sunscreen.
