Robert Paley

At the MTA, Robert oversees MTA property development, including the West Side Yard development in Manhattan, as well as efforts to promote better coordination between local land use policies and transit-oriented development throughout MTA’s regional commuter rail and subway networks.
Prior to joining MTA, Mr. Paley developed residential buildings near transit for several private real estate companies.
Mr. Paley is an adjunct assistant professor of real estate development at Columbia University, a member of the Urban Land Institute’s NY District Council Advisory Board and a member of the national TOD Council of the Urban Land Institute. He received his BA and MBA from Yale University.
