Reid Buckley
Reid has led the development and financing of renewable energy projects across the United States for nearly 35 years. As a co-founder of Orion Renewable Energy Group LLC, he and his colleagues have developed more than 10,000 megawatts of wind, solar, and battery storage projects operating throughout the U.S. In addition to his work at Orion, Reid serves on the Park County, Montana Planning and Zoning Commission, as a board member at Montana Freshwater Partners, a non-profit dedicated to preserving streams and wetlands throughout Montana, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Yale Center for Business and the Environment.
Prior to his work in renewable energy, Reid worked at General Electric, Bain & Company, and William Kent International. In 1989-1990 Reid was a Fellow of the Robert Bosch Foundation in Bonn and Frankfurt, Germany.
Reid received a Master’s degree in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics from Yale College.
