Ramil Ibrahim

Ramil is a joint MBA and Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of Management and Yale School of the Environment, respectively. As a queer first-generation American of Egyptian and Filipino descent, Ramil is driven by a deep sense of duty to help build a better future for the next generation. Prior to Yale, Ramil has led a non-traditional career at the intersection of capital markets, social justice, and climate change. His professional experience includes roles at Acumen, One Acre Fund, Nuveen/TIAA, Capital Impact Partners, and the US International Development Finance Corporation. 

Most recently, Ramil spent his summer internship at Dispatch Energy doing project finance/M&A for community solar and distributed generation projects. At Yale, Ramil is the Chief Investment Officer of the Meng Impact Investment Fund. His academic interests include renewable energy, climate technology, and sustainable finance. Ramil  is originally from New York and holds a bachelor's degree from New York University.
