Rama Tentu
Rama has 4 years of work experience as an R&D professional with focus on sustainable technology development. She worked as a research fellow at the Good Food Institute to build sustainable food systems in India and led the technical and market analysis of novel protein sources like microalgae, seaweed, fungi, etc. Before joining GFI, she was a product development manager at Unilever leading an R&D team to develop sustainable personal care products. She is also a chemical engineer and her master's thesis was on the development of novel green photocatalysts for hydrogen generation.
At Yale SOM, she is complementing her technology background with business expertise. She is passionate about making innovations and technologies accessible at scale for a just and sustainable future. She is interested in systemic change and incorporating long term multistakeholder centric and systems thinking approach to solving complex challenges in sustainability space.
