Øyvind Leistad

Mr. Leistad was first hired by Enova as a senior adviser in bioenergy and renewable heating in 2005. He has been a member of Enova's management team since 2007 and is currently holding the position of Program Director. Prior to this he worked as an adviser and senior adviser in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy since 1998. Mr. Leistad has long experience in developing and managing policies and measures in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency and has worked closely with both government and industry. His educational background is in resource economics, finance, and investment management from the Agricultural University of Norway. Mr. Leistad is member of the program board for the research program ENERGIX under the Research Council of Norway.
