Nina Lagpacan
Nina is a Program Officer with Oceankind, a philanthropic group based in the Bay Area dedicated to protecting marine ecosystems. She provides operational support and helps manage Oceankind's grants and investments that are cross cutting in nature, touching multiple program areas.
Prior to joining Oceankind, Nina worked with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation supporting the Ocean and Seafood Markets and Forests and Agricultural Markets portfolios. Before entering philanthropy, Nina worked as a park ranger in the Tetons and Rockies for the National Park Service.
Nina received a joint MBA/ Master of Environmental Management degrees from Yale University and a B.A. in Integrative Biology and German from the University of California Berkeley.
Outside of work, you might find Nina playing volleyball, exploring Bay Area trails and trying the newest boba or ramen spot.
