Neil Veilleux

Neil Veilleux is currently a Principal at The Cadmus Group, where he oversees a wide portfolio of projects for the firm’s U.S. and international energy practice. He has deep expertise in strategic electrification and clean energy markets and helps senior policymakers and business leaders achieve strategic priorities. Mr. Veilleux was formerly a Vice President at Meister Consultants Group, an international consultancy focusing on renewable energy and climate policy. Mr. Veilleux specializes in renewable heating and cooling (RH&C) markets. He currently works with technology manufacturers and city planners from Boston, New York City, Boulder, and Washington DC to scale up RH&C deployment in cities. He also regularly works with state agencies on RH&C policy. Recent clients include the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, and Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources. Internationally, Mr. Veilleux led an analysis of next generation RH&C policies for the International Energy Agency and was lead author for a study on innovative solar water heating financing and business models for the United Nations Environment Program. Before joining MCG, Mr. Veilleux served as a Rappaport Public Policy Fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and a Fulbright scholar in Germany
