Naomi Shimberg

Naomi is a junior majoring in Ethics, Politics, & Economics and Energy Studies. At CBEY, Naomi works on Pricing Nature, a podcast that tells a story of carbon pricing and the economics of climate change. In the past, Naomi has worked in Yale’s Department of Economics, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, Climate XChange, and in a hut on the Appalachian trail. On campus, Naomi leads the First-Year Outdoor Orientation (FOOT) program, tutors at the Writing Center, and is a captain of the women’s club soccer team. She is deeply connected to New England mountains, coastlines, and forests.
