Monica Gronseth
Monica is a joint MBA/MEM candidate at Yale School of Management and Yale School of the Environment, where she is focused on climate change solutions and the energy transition. She intends to spend her career deploying grid-decarbonizing technologies and transitioning companies to 100% carbon-free electricity use.
Prior to Yale, Monica worked at NERA Economic Consulting in San Francisco and helped successfully scale and manage a fund specializing in electricity trading in New York City as the first employee. Her most recent work has centered around consulting for a renewable energy AI startup on strategy, operations, and business development. Monica is a Colorado native.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado with a double B.A. in Mathematics and Economics, and a Certificate in Quantitative Finance.
When she’s not studying or working, Monica enjoys trail running, playing the piano, nature walks, and conversing with friends.
