Monica is an MBA candidate at Yale School of Management, where she is focused on climate change solutions and the energy transition. She intends to spend her career scaling and deploying clean energy and climate technologies. At Yale, she is the SOM Energy Club Co-President and a Climate Deal Team Member for the Meng Impact Investment Fund.

Prior to Yale, Monica helped successfully grow and manage a startup fund specializing in electricity trading in New York City as the first employee. She has also consulted for clean energy AI and hard tech startups on strategy, operations, and business development. She started her career in at NERA Economic Consulting in San Francisco focused on intellectual property.

Monica graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado with a double B.A. in Mathematics and Environmental Economics, and certificates in Quantitative Finance and Sustainability Leadership.

Monica is a Colorado native and nature lover. When not studying or working, you will find her trail running, playing the piano, on nature walks, and conversing with friends about everything from life to emerging tech.
