Michelle Zackin is a joint MBA / MEM candidate at the Yale School of Management and Yale School of the Environment. Prior to Yale, Michelle worked as a consumer insights consultant where she honed her research design, data analysis, and storytelling skills through helping companies develop business solutions that better align with the desires and needs of their consumers. Michelle hopes to apply her customer centric mindset to developing the business case for sustainability in a way that inspires commitment and action from all stakeholders. This past summer, Michelle worked with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development on building pre-competitive partnerships to solve environmental and social concerns within the food and agriculture sector.
At Yale, Michelle is a leader of the School of Management Business and Environment Club and has participated in multiple student consulting engagements. These include designing an impact measurement strategy for Elm Shakespeare Company and consulting on water management best practices for the Connecticut Brewers Guild. When not in class, Michelle is an avid equestrian, skier, and baker. Michelle holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Economics from Tufts University.
