Michelle Mendlewicz

Michelle is part of Nike’s Purpose team working across environmental sustainability, social & community impact and diversity & inclusion. In this role, Michelle collaborates cross-functionally to develop Nike’s annual Impact Report, issue prioritization assessment and engagement strategies to inspire internal and external action on all purpose areas.
Originally from Brazil, she has a diverse set of skills having worked with businesses, nonprofits and governments on sustainability for over eight years. An environmental lawyer with a passion for storytelling and stakeholder engagement, she is committed to applying her policy and corporate sustainability training to accelerate the transition to a low carbon economy, circular future and more equitable world.
Michelle received her Master of Environmental Management, Business & Environment, from the Yale School of Environment. She holds a J.D. and a post-graduate degree in Environmental Law from Pontificia Universidade Catolica of Rio de Janeiro.
